- Deseed the jackfruit. Cut it lengthwise and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Add 1/4 cup water when pressure cooking it. It will appear somewhat mushy.
- To this jackfruit mixture, add jaggery syrup, rice flour and cardamom powder and form a dough. Take a banana leaf, apply ghee on it.
- Onto this leaf, add the jackfruit dough and little coconut. Fold it as shown in the picture.
