The ingredients needed to make Green Papaya Chutney:
- Take Green papaya 1piece, sugar 200gm,salt,cashewnut 25gm,raisin 25gm
- Make ready Cherry 4 pcs,almond 5 pcs,water as required,lemon slice
Instructions to make Green Papaya Chutney:
- Cut the papaya into 4 pieces and peel it off.
- Clean the pieces and Grate it.
- Take cashewnut, raisin,almond,cherry in a plate. Cut the cherry and almond into slices.
- Take a kadai and put some water to boil the grated papaya.
- Seive it and keep aside.
- Take 2 cups of sugar and 4 cups of water to make syrup.
- When syrup is ready add the boiled grated papaya in it. Add little amount of salt,cashewnut and raisin in it. Boil it for 10 mins.
- Put the gas off and make the chutney cool. After getting cooled, add lemon juice and garnish with almond and cherry slices.
- Put it into freezer until it is served.
