- Get 1/2 lemon juice
- Get 2 tbsp or more water as required

- Coarsely grind garlic, chillies, coriander leaves and salt in a mixie
- Heat oil and add the coarsely crushed masala. Saute for a few minutes. Add haldi, dhania powder and zeera powder. Saute for a few minutes.
- Now add the fish to the masala and fry it for sometime turning sides. Add a little water and let it boil.
- Beat curd and wheat flour to get a smooth paste. Add this mixture to the fish and mix well. Add water to adjust consistency. Cook till done.
- Fish fry: wash and pat dry the fish. Coat it with rice flour and set aside.
- Prepare a batter of haldi, besan, red chilli powder, garam masala, ajwain, lemon juice, garlic powder and dhania powder. Add little water to adjust consistency so that batter is able to coat the fish.
- Coat the fish in this batter and deep fry. Serve hot.
