  3. When all the eggs are mixed in put the bowl put on the stove in the pot and mix slowly till the mixture is thick or till it covers the back of your spoon
  4. Sift the mixture into a pouring jug and the pour the mixture in to jars and leave to cool with the lids of. When the mixture I cooled down put lids on and put in fridge and there you have tasty lemon curd

Perfect on toast, scones, hot buttered crumpets or rippled through ice cream. Fruit curd is a dessert spread and topping usually made with citrus fruit, such as lemon, lime, orange, or tangerine. Other flavor variations include passion fruit, mango, and berries such as raspberries, cranberries or blackberries. I haven't made Lemon Curd yet, but I'm puzzled by comments about the cooked eggs.
