The ingredients needed to make Mint Rice:
- Prepare 1 cup Basmati Rice
- Make ready 1 onion, chopped
- Prepare 2 tbsp Ghee
- Make ready 2 piece green chillies, diced
- Prepare 3/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Make ready 3/4 tsp corriander powdee
- Get 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- Make ready 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Make ready 1/4 cup mint leaves
- Get 1 tsp cinnamon, cardamom pods (crushed) and cloves
- Make ready 2 cup water, to cook rice
- Take 1 salt to taste
Instructions to make Mint Rice:
- Clean and soak rice for 10-15 minutes
- In and a large microwave proof bowl, add ghee, onion, green chillies and ginger garlic paste. Mix well and micro at high power for 3 min
- Add corriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala. Stir and micro at high power for 30 seconds.
- Then add rice, water, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and salt. Stir well and micro for 13 min. Do not forget to cover the bowl with a lid.
- Stir well and let it stay covered for 3 min .
