- Add the bread mixture to the mince mixture and mix well.
- Roll the mixture into balls and cover with bacon, secure with a toothpick.
- Pour oil into an oven save dish and place the meatballs evenly in the dish. Bake in the oven for 20 - 30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy. (You can fry them on the stove top as well but I find that they break easily.)
I had some leftover beef and cheese…and yes, even bacon so this just made sense! What is really great about these meatballs is that they have a different flavor than most meatballs that I have tried.
