- Remove corn from stalk
- Cook corn for 10-15minute
- Remove dirt from beans, rinse with hot salted water
- Add beans and 1 big onion to corn cover lid and cook for 30min(pressure pot)
- Allow to rest a while before opening the lid, check beans and press to know if its soft enough
- Add salt, crayfish, ground pepper, and palm oil. Cover lid and allow to cook for 10 more minute.
- Enjoy your meal hot
This combination is known as adalu among the Yoruba people. It's deliciously savory and doesn't require a whole lot of finesse to make. Adalu is a popular Nigerian corn and beans dish cooked together as a pottage with smoked fish with palm oil. This dish is called Ewa Ati Agbado by the Yorubas'. Adalu is a great idea if there are ever leftover beans.
