The ingredients needed to make Classic Lasagne:
  1. Prepare Raw lasagne sheets one packet(it doesnt require boiling) if you dont want to use these you can boil it n use
  2. Prepare 4 tbsp Oil
  3. Make ready Onions chopped 1 medium
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp Garlic chopped/ paste
  5. Prepare 1/2 kg Mince (chicken)
  6. Make ready 1 tsp Salt
  7. Take 1 tsp Sugar
  8. Get 1 tsp Oregano
  9. Take 1 tsp Black pepper
  10. Prepare 1 tsp Crushed red chillies
  11. Get Tomatoes 3 blended
  12. Prepare Tomato paste 2 tbsp heaped
  13. Take 1 1/2 cups Water
  14. Get 1 tbsp Maida
  15. Get White sauce:
  16. Get 3 tbsp Butter
  17. Get 3 tbsp Maida
  18. Take 2 cups Milk
  19. Get 1 cup Cream
  20. Get Salt and black pepper 1/2 tsp each
  21. Take 3 tbsp Cheddar cheese
  22. Make ready Assembling :
  23. Prepare Cheddar cheese 1 cup grated
  24. Take Mozrella cheese 1 cup grated
  25. Get Mixed herbs to sprinkle
  26. Prepare Olive oil to drizzle
Instructions to make Classic Lasagne:
  1. In a pan add oil, fry garlic n onions till softened.
  2. Once softened add in chicken mince n fry till colour changes.
  3. Next add in spices; salt, sugar, black pepper. crushed red chillies, oregano. Mix it.
  4. Add in tomato paste n blended tomatoes n mix it again
  5. Add in water and flour 1 tbsp n cover and cook on low for 10 to 15 mins.
  6. Sauce shouldn't be dry but it should be saucy n runny.
  7. For white sauce put butter and maida in a pan.saute it for 2 to 3 mins.
  8. Next remove from pan and add in milk, cream, salt n black pepper n cook till it thickens to a medium consistency.
  9. Remove from heat and add in cheddar cheese n mix it well while hot.
  10. For assembling take a pyrex dish n grease it. Put meat sauce a little n spread evenly.
  11. Next give a layer of raw sheets. Top with meat layer and white sauce.
  12. Top with mozrella cheese n mixed herbs a little.
  13. Again put lasagne sheets, meat layer, white sauce n now cheddar cheese layer with mixed herbs.
  14. Repeat layers, finally top with mozrella cheese and mixed herbs.
  15. Drizzle olive oil on top a little bit. Cover with aluminium foil n bake at 180 degrees for 40 mins.
  16. For last 5 minutes grill it too to get golden color from top too.
